A Trip ToThe Park!

New Bed?

Last night Seth did not want to stay in his crib to go to bed he just kept screaming and it was already so late and usually he is asleep already. So I came up with this "great" idea that maybe he's big enough to sleep in a regular bed now. So Mark & I brought up Lukes old toddler bed from downstairs and set it right next to Lukes bed. Well, Seth was so excited for something new but he didn't think it was a bed, He thought it was just something new to climb and jump and play on. I tried laying him down several times and telling him its night night time but you can see how well that worked.Going...
Going...
Going...
Gone!
We left him in the room with his new bed in the dark hoping he might get the picture and settle down and actually lie down and fall asleep, but after about an hour of him still going strong just climbing on everything we realized it wasnt going to work. He is still too young. So back to the crib he went. Shortly after he was asleep. I guess all that climbing wore him out.

Jocelyns New Hair Style!

This morning I decided to try something new with Jocelyn's hair. She really has very little hair but I try to make the best of it. I didnt think it would work out but it happened. It was a close one. I just cant believe she stayed still while I was doing it. At first when her hair was just long enough for a pony tail she didnt like it at all and she would pull them out as soon as I put them in but I think she's getting used to them now since I put them in every day. I sit her on the bathroom counter with her feet in the sink while I comb her hair. I think She expects it now and is used to it.

Ready for Church!

Luke was all ready for church and he said he wanted to take a picture to show Papa. He loves wearing his suit to church because he likes to match his Dad.

Frosting

We had Matt & Katie over for dinner and they brought cookies for dessert, Luke's
favorite, but he only licked the frosting off the top.

Lukes New Glasses!

Luke just got his new glasses today. He's doing pretty good leaving them on. Which is good because he has to wear them all day everyday.

My New Cricut & 1st Vinyl Project!

I finally got my Cricut Expression by UPS on Wed. the 13th and I just finished my very first vinyl project. I probably should have done something a bit smaller for my first try but it came out really good for not knowing what I was doing. After that I think I can do just about anything.

Family Tradition

Since we moved to Utah, we have developed this little family tradition of attending the Demolition Derby which is held on the last day of the Washington County Fair. This year there was a lot of excitement. I thought instead of posting still pictures, I would do video so that you could get a little more taste of what its all about. If you get bored don't give up because the best is saved for last. If you dont want to watch all of them at least see the last one. Each video clip is not very long. I think the longest is about a minute. Enjoy!
Oh, and remember to pause my playlist.

A Suprise From Liza!!!

Liza suprised us with a package. She sent all the kids new outfits and pj's. She even threw in some little toys. Thank you so much Liza!!!

She even thought of Jocelyn and gave her a cute dress and PJ's!

Spider-Man

Luke's new Spider-Man blanket and pillow. He saw a little boy with a Spider-Man plush doll and Luke wanted one so bad but they were selling them for $30 bucks so we said we'd take him to Wal-Mart and get him one but they didn't have any so he settled for this. We said he had to pick either the blanket or the pillow but he had to have the set.

The Washington County Fair!

Walking from the Parking lot to the Washington County Fair.
We were lucky to get this picture with no one else in it. A big group had gone before we got there and there was a big group coming behind us. To bad, Otherwise we would have posed under the sign.
Luke and Seth in one of the buildings waiting for Daddy to stop talking to a vender.
